Who we are

ResolveCraft is a small web studio run by Ebou Elhaj, an individual based in Paris, France. He decides how the information described here is used (he is the “data controller”).

What we use, and where it comes from

We contact businesses, not consumers. We only use professional information:

• the business name, address, phone number, category and whether it is open, as shown on its public Google listing;
• the address of its website, whether that website loads, and public technical records about its domain (DNS, domain registration records, archived copies of public pages);
• the business email address published on its website, or found and checked with an email-finding service;
• a first name, when it appears in that email address or on the business’s own website;
• our messages with you, including any request to stop.

Sources: the business’s own website, its Google listing (through the Google Maps Platform), public internet records, the Internet Archive, and Hunter (hunter.io) for some email addresses.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use this information to write to a business about a website service that fits a situation we observed (for example, a website that no longer loads), to answer replies, and to make sure we never contact someone who asked us to stop.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). We limit it to professional information, send one email and at most two short follow-ups, and stop at the first request. Our emails contain no tracking pixels.

Who processes it

We never sell or rent this information, and we don’t use it for advertising. A few service providers process it on our behalf:

• Google: email (Google Workspace) and business listing data (Google Maps Platform);
• Hunter: finding and checking business email addresses;
• Anthropic: an AI assistant that helps review public business information and draft messages;
• Cloudflare: hosting of this website.

Some of these providers process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• If you don’t reply, we delete your information no later than 12 months after our last message.
• If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address and business name on a do-not-contact list, so that we can respect your request.
• If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or limit its use. You can object at any time to being contacted. Write to ebou@resolvecraft.com; we answer within one month.

You can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the authority where you live.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Its contact form does not send anything: it opens a draft in your own email app, which you can review before sending. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
